Too Much

All I need is a loving hand
It's not too much, I think.
All I want is arms to enfold me
Keeping me warm, not leaving me cold.
It's not too much, I think..
Shouldn't I feel I'm all he needs
A special being standing by his side
Standing out from the others around him?
Surely that can't be too much, I think..
My love and loyalty is all for him
My heart is in his hands
So shouldn't I get equal in return
In more than just showing it to me?
That most definitely isn't too much..
His affection for me is hidden away from all others
But for others it shows to everyone..
It pains me but I hide it away...
Because it's all too much for my heart to bear.
